Dr. Endya Stewart holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Iowa State University. Before assuming a collegiate level teaching position at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Dr. Stewart spent a number of years working with educational research at the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Dr. Stewart currently holds the role of Interim Associate Dean for Student Services in the College of Education at Florida A&M University. Before this role, she served as a department chair. As the Co-Advisor for the FAMU chapter of SFEA, Dr. Stewart emphasizes the importance of leaving a legacy. Lead your best life.

Dr. Vanessa Pitts Bannister holds a doctorate in Mathematics Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pitts Bannister has taught mathematics and mathematics education courses at the secondary and collegiate levels for over 25 years. She currently holds the role of Chair of the Department of Secondary Education, Technology Education, and Foundations in the College of Education at Florida’s A&M University. As the Co-Advisor of the FAMU chapter of SFEA, Dr. Pitts Bannister enjoys working with the next generation of educators. Dr. Pitts Bannister firmly believes in a quality education for all students.
